MY NEW QUILTS

If you want to order a t-shirt quilt for Christmas order now!

Here are my three types of t-shirt quilts that I am making:

This is my A&M T-shirt made from 12 adult t-shirts in honor of my brother (Gary's) Lady Aggies. Notice they were the NCAA champions in 2011. The size of each square is 17" x17". This quilt is not for sale but is a sample by the way. A quilt like it sells right now for $200. which is a bargain. I quilted it on my sewing machine. This price includes the labor plus the backing, stripping, interfacing, and thread. You of course, provide the t-shirts. It does not have to be this big if your squares are smaller or you have less t-shirts.

This is my beloved Africa t-shirt quilt which is in process of being quilted. Notice it has random size squares which requires more time to assemble the quilt. I did make the width of each row the same. This quilt is a sample also as it is my memory quilt. This would be around $225. depending on your t-shirts.

This is the 3rd sample quilt. The Texas Ranger quilt is a fringe quilt and is much easier to actually quilt so the price is less. Around $150. for 12 squares that are 17" x 17". The one below is random squares so it would be closer to $175.

SO THAT IS THE T-SHIRT QUILTS THAT CAN BE ORDERED!

I ALSO HAVE BABY QUILTS THAT ARE ON SALE RIGHT NOW FOR $65. FOR 9 SQUARE QUILT AND $75. FOR THE 12 SQUARE QUILTS. I USE THE CRAZY PATCH PATTERN FOR THESE QUILTS.

Here are a few samples:
The exact same material might not be available but something similar will be available. I love the John Deere quilt but I could not find the picture today.

This is one of the craft fairs that I did in October and November. I did a total of four sales. The T-shirt quilt is what most people wanted for graduation and memory quilts. I enjoyed doing the fall and Halloween table runners and team quilts. I also had some baby items and aprons. I have decided to stay focused on my quilts.

I really enjoyed making my second signature quilt. I can make this one in baby size or lap size. It is great for going away gifts, graduation gifts etc. Another idea is to write your favorite scripture on the muslin block in the middle of the small squares. This is my South African Shew Shew quilt. I do have this material if someone wants a small size like this. I have African gitenge material as well. My quilt was hand quilted but I will do future quilts like this on the machine. I am too slow to sell hand quilted quilts.

I love my fall quilt that I started last fall while in Alabama. It reminds me of watching in the park with Larry and my mother-in-law. She love looking up into the tall trees and pointed out leaves for me to collect. This sure was a short fall this year. As you can see I have done a lot of quilt making this last year. I love starting a new quilt and love putting in the last stitches.
