Ready, Set, Go!!!!!!!

It is time to get started! Let’s get out all those pictures and do something with them! Or maybe you would like to have fun making some special cards to encourage your friends and family. Or perhaps a gift to give to someone. It is easy to do using Close To MY Heart paper and supplies. Their stamps are easy to use and add so much to your scrapbook pages and cards. Please check out the catalog on my webpage www.dibrandolph.ctmh.com

I would love to get together on May 8th from 6 pm till when we finish or May 9th from 10am to noon. I can show you the samples I have of projects and some of the CTMH materials that you might be interested in ordering. If these dates are not convenient then we can talk about other times. I’m available on Sat afternoon also.

What I propose we do is meet once a month to work on a project together. Then in between time you might want to continue to work on more pages or cards. I call these clubs. The ideal number of people would be around 6 to 8 but fewer is possible. Please bring your friends or relatives with you on the 8th or 9th to see if they might want to join you in having fun creating. Please RSVP Dianne at dibrandolph@gmail.com

The above cards were done with the balloon ride paper and accessories found on page 37. The cards are fun and easy to make. I have stamps that you can add sentiments on the inside of the card or just write your own message.

Then below you will find four pages in scrapbook form done with the Skylark “Workshop on the Go” kit page 22 & 23. The pages are so pretty when finished. Once you have the layout you can do another set with paper you might have on hand.

There are two books I suggest you might like to order, like I did when I was first getting started. They give so many layouts for scrapbooks and cards. I chose the Reflections for scrapbooking and Originals for card making. Then I used the paper I already had on hand as well as stickers and other embellishment.

The cards sets are usually around $25 for 6 cards. The “workshop on the go” is around $30.  We can also have crop nights or days when we use what we already have on hand. I have a Cricut machine with philosophy and artiste art cartridges that match a lot of the stamps that are in the catalog. I makes them really stand out.

I am really looking forward to working together and making new friends.
